The ChuPop cast is revealed!

Nijihara Inochi's stage name is Towano Inochi (永久野いのち). I came up with that name based on the phrase 'towa no inochi'= eternal life, something that Xerneas is known for bringing.Her image color is Blue.

Aizawa Mimika (愛沢美々香). A Mimikyu gijinka from the faraway Alola region. She wanted to be an idol like Pikachune, until she heard that Pikachune had a dark secret. Then she thought of herself as a 'loser', until she discovered SELF-CONFIDENCE. Her last name means 'Indigo swamp', but I used the character for 'love' as a reference to how Mimikyu wants to be loved. Her image color is Yellow.

Iwata Natsuki (岩田奈月). A Clefairy gijinka. Has the distinction of being the only boy in the group. The origin behind him is that he was close to being a solo idol under ~PiKA!~ Productions, but after discovering Pikachune brainwashing thousands in the Poke-people's world, he gave up. But he managed to be one of the 7 founding members of Inochi's idol group. His name has the two characters for 'moon' (tsuki) and 'stone' (iwa), referencing a Pokemon episode: Clefairy and the Moon Stone. His first name literally means 'moon over Nara'. His image color is Pink.

Sako Yurika (佐香ユリカ). A Dedenne gijinka. Literally Kalos' Fairy-type answer to Pikachune. Her #1 goal is for the idols on the show to be bigger than Pikachune, without brainwashing. Claims that she is not affiliated with ~PiKA!~ Productions. Her last name comes from Tomohisa Sako, singer of Kirakira (And writer of Pikachu's song) He first name, Yurika comes from Bonnie, whose Japanese name is Yurika. Her image color is Orange.

Mitsui Rara (三井らら). A Kirlia gijinka. Best dancer, best waifu, best Psychic-type. Goes by the stage name RURU, which comes from Ruby's Gardevoir (Rara)'s Japanese name RURU. Her last name Mitsui means 'three wells', but can also be interpreted as a reference to Wally/Mitsuru, who famously owned a Gardevoir in Pokemon Ruby-Sapphire-Emerald. Rara directly comes from the name of Ruby's Gardevoir in Pokespe/Pokemon Special RSE. Her image color is Green.

Hanazawa Haruka (花澤ハルカ). A Floette gijinka. Likes the colors red, blue, white, yellow and orange. But as she had to pick one, she picked Red. Hanazawa means 'flower swamp' and Haruka means 'spring fragrance'. Her image color is Red.

Namerikawa Megumi (滑川めぐみ). A Sliggoo gijinka. Has high hopes that she won't get destroyed. Literally a dragon trying to stay alive in an idol group dominated by fairies. Namerikawa means 'slippery river', and Megumi is directly a reference to Goomy, Sliggoo's pre-evolved form. Her image color is Purple.
